Before You Book

By scheduling, confirming, or receiving services, clients acknowledge that they have reviewed, understood, and agreed to these service terms and booking policies.

  • Certain services, locations, timeframes, or concierge requests may require a non-refundable reservation deposit or advance payment in order to secure scheduling priority.

    Appointments are not considered confirmed until required deposits or payments are received.

    Deposits and prepayments are applied toward the final service balance but are not refundable once the appointment window has been reserved.

  • Due to the nature of mobile concierge services, most fees paid to The Spice Isle Notary LLC are non-refundable once an appointment has been scheduled and service preparation has begun.

    Reservation deposits, travel fees, administrative fees, and charges related to reserved appointment time are earned upon scheduling and are not subject to refund.


    If a notarization cannot be completed due to circumstances outside the notary’s control — including but not limited to signer absence, lack of valid identification, missing witnesses, incomplete documents, refusal to sign, or unsafe service conditions — applicable service and travel fees remain payable.

    In situations where an appointment is canceled after travel has begun or upon arrival at the service location, partial or full service charges may apply.

    Refund considerations may be reviewed at the sole professional discretion of The Spice Isle Notary LLC in rare circumstances involving clear service error.

    This policy allows us to maintain reliable scheduling availability and deliver a consistent, high-quality concierge service experience for all clients.

  • One reschedule is permitted with 48 hours’ notice.

    Requests made less than 48 hours before the appointment are treated as late cancellations and may result in fees or forfeited payments.

  • If a payment method is not placed on file and a balance becomes due following a scheduled service or late cancellation, an invoice will be issued and considered payable upon receipt.

    Outstanding balances may result in:

    • Restriction of future booking privileges

    • Administrative or collection fees

    • Requirement of advance payment for future services

    • Further professional or legal action to recover unpaid service charges if necessary

  • We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise and strive to accommodate reasonable scheduling adjustments whenever possible.

    Clients are kindly encouraged to provide advance notice of at least 24 hours if an appointment must be rescheduled or canceled. Appointments canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time may incur a late cancellation fee.

    If cancellation occurs after travel has begun, while en route, or upon arrival, clients may be responsible for a partial or full service charge to compensate for mobilization, reserved time, and lost scheduling opportunities.

  • Failure to appear, respond, or grant access at the scheduled appointment time may be considered a no-show.

    No-shows may result in forfeiture of deposits and assessment of applicable service or travel charges.

    Repeated missed appointments may affect future booking eligibility or require advance payment for future services.

  • To maintain a reliable and efficient booking process, clients may be asked to provide a valid payment method to secure or confirm an appointment.

    Returned, declined, reversed, or disputed payments may incur additional administrative fees and must be resolved prior to scheduling future appointments.

    The Spice Isle Notary LLC strives to maintain respectful and professional service relationships with all clients.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring all notarization requirements are satisfied prior to the appointment, including:

    • presence of all required signers

    • presentation of valid, acceptable government-issued identification

    • availability of required witnesses (if applicable)

    • completion of documents prior to notarization

    Upon arrival at the confirmed service location, The Spice Isle Notary LLC provides a complimentary courtesy wait period of up to 10 minutes.  If signers, identification, witnesses, documents, or access to the service location are not ready within the courtesy period, additional wait time may be billed and added to your final balance.

    Extended delays may require rescheduling of the appointment in order to remain fair to other scheduled clients.  Applicable travel, wait time, or service fees may still apply even if the notarization is ultimately not completed. Clients are expected to be fully prepared at the scheduled appointment time.

    The notary is not responsible for determining document completion or legal sufficiency. If services cannot be completed due to lack of readiness, signer absence, incomplete documentation, refusal to sign, or failure to meet notarial requirements, applicable mobile, administrative, or travel fees remain payable.

What To Bring To Your Appointment

  • A government -issued photo ID, such as a Drivers License or Passport

  • The specific documents that require notarization, ensuring they are complete and ready for signing.

  • If the documents require witnesses, make sure they are present and have valid identification as well.

  • Any fees associated with the notarization service, in the form of cash, check, or electronic payment

  • Any extra paperwork or information related to the documents being notarized, if applicable
